# OpenApps Launches AdPad for Creator Sponsorships With USDC Escrow on Solana

OpenApps has [launched AdPad](https://x.com/openappsxyz/status/2112189764162261392?ref=solanahorizon.com), a marketplace where sponsors pay creators in USDC for advertising on clothing, at events, and in social posts.

The launch focuses on sponsorships around Breakpoint in London, including custom suit patches and a day spent wearing a branded paper bag.

[AdPad](https://adpad.fyi/?ref=solanahorizon.com) charges no platform take rate, so creators receive the full amount locked for their booking. Sponsors lock payments in escrow on Solana until the AdPad Agent checks proof of the agreed work.

## How AdPad Releases Payments

With AdPad, sponsors fund offchain work, such as wearing a sponsor's shirt at a conference, through an onchain payment before the work begins.

Here’s how it works:

1. A sponsor books a creator and locks USDC in escrow, then the creator completes the work and submits a public proof link. The AdPad Agent checks that proof before payout, as shown in [the settlement flow](https://x.com/openappsxyz/status/2112189784441630891?ref=solanahorizon.com).
2. Each booking has its own Solana program-derived address (PDA), which keeps its escrow separate from other sponsorships; meanwhile, program logic controls the address instead of a conventional wallet's private key.
3. The creator's public link gives the agent evidence to check before settlement.

## Creator Offers and Open Calls

Sponsors can browse creator offers or post an Open Call specifying what they want and funding the USDC budget up front. Creators respond with a listing, and the sponsor chooses which responses to accept.

The marketplace showed nine live listings when reviewed, including 100 USDC to wear a company's T-shirt for a full day at Breakpoint and 420 USDC for a custom patch sewn onto a suit. Other offers covered vlog integrations, event videos, and founder interviews.

OpenApps' [Bag Head Open Call](https://adpad.fyi/calls/call%5Fbc6d8cc1f416f36f3344de99e7ff3fda?ref=solanahorizon.com) offers 500 USDC for one person to wear an OpenApps or AdPad advertisement on a bag for a day at Breakpoint. ## London Event Boards and Community Ownership

AdPad's [event boards](https://adpad.fyi/events?ref=solanahorizon.com) group offers around Hacker House London, listed for Nov. 1-12, and [Breakpoint at Olympia London](https://solana.com/breakpoint?ref=solanahorizon.com), scheduled for Nov. 15-17\. Creators declare their own attendance, but their offers do not confirm event registration or an official partnership with the organizers.
