Beezie is expanding its onchain collectibles marketplace, which has comprised trading cards, sneakers, and memorabilia, into luxury goods through a partnership with The Luxury Closet.
Items like an Hermès Birkin 40 and Rolex GMT-Master II have been put up for grabs through Beezie's claw machine.
The Luxury Closet authenticates the items, which are stored securely and available for onchain ownership.
Beezie represents physical collectibles digitally while keeping the authenticated items in storage.
Each item has a digital twin that collectors can buy, trade, store, redeem, or swap without moving the physical item whenever ownership changes.
For this new category release, The Luxury Closet is supplying and authenticating the goods. The Dubai-based company is the largest luxury resale marketplace in the Middle East, serving more than 2.4 million shoppers with buyers in more than 80 countries.
More than 15 specialists cover categories such as gems, leather and textiles, and the company offers a lifetime authenticity guarantee.
To date, Beezie has processed 964,000 claw pulls, generated more than $197 million in total platform volume.
